The parents of Chan & Mann, Jim & Susy Chan and Jason & Belle Mann, share anecdotes from the artistic development of their daughters. In partnership with 323 Projects, this parental commentary serves as an audio companion to the exhibition, 3 Solo Projects: Audrey Chan, Elana Mann, Chan & Mann, at the Ben Maltz Gallery, Otis College of Art and Design.
ABOUT CHAN & MANN
Artists Audrey Chan and Elana Mann have collaborated since 2005 as the duo Chan & Mann, aiming to liberate, motivate, and gyrate through feminist and ethnic role-play within live, painted, and animated realities. They received their MFAs from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 2007, where they created performances such as Soul Satisfaction (2005) and Nature! This One’s For You! (2007).
